The Collaborative Program in Editing Medieval Texts was first offered in 2002, created at the suggestion of A.G. Rigg of the Centre for Medieval Studies┬áto increase interest in studying the unknown books of the Middle Ages and make them accessible to modern readers. In celebration of this anniversary, we have created a new website for the program and launched this blog to highlight the best work of editors around the world and discover new tools to facilitate our work. Though the Middle Ages ended centuries ago, we’re only getting started in our quest to understand this pivotal period in history, and find what medieval people have to say to modern society.
